Dodo Brands Hits $1.8B Revenue as Global Expansion Accelerates

By Ekaterina Vdovina

From one pizzeria to 1,650 locations, Dodo Brands is using technology and franchising to scale globally.

Dodo Brands has marked its 15th anniversary by reporting a record $1.8 billion in system-wide revenue, representing a 22% year-over-year increase. The company now operates more than 1,650 locations across 26 countries, solidifying its position as one of the world’s top 10 largest pizza chains by store count.

Fifteen Years of Digital Disruption

Founded in 2011 as a single pizzeria, the group has evolved into a multi-brand powerhouse. Beyond its flagship pizza operations, the company is rapidly scaling Drinkit, a digital-first coffee concept designed for the modern consumer.

The group’s success is anchored by Dodo IS, a proprietary unified tech platform that manages everything from supply chains to customer loyalty. This commitment to radical transparency allows the company to publish real-time, unit-level sales data across its entire global network.

Strategic International Growth

The milestone year was defined by aggressive international expansion, fueled by new market entries and high-value master franchise agreements. This model has allowed the brand to maintain consistent quality and operational efficiency while adapting to diverse global markets.

The Road to 4,000 Units

Looking toward the next decade, the company has set an ambitious target to reach 4,000 locations by 2030. This roadmap focuses on deepening market penetration in existing territories while identifying high-growth regions for the Drinkit brand.

As Dodo Brands enters its next phase of maturity, its blend of cloud-based infrastructure and franchise-centric scaling positions it as a formidable challenger to traditional legacy fast-food giants. The company’s trajectory suggests that the future of the industry lies at the intersection of culinary consistency and deep-tech integration.
